The Basic Needs for Notepad Printing
When printing notepads, do you know what you need to prepare? When you
want to invest in print notepads be sure you know what your options
are. Don’t be caught up with all the printing hooplas and sales talk
that you get enticed to try out anything that your print agent is
telling you. It is always a practical idea to know the facts and
everything you need to know when printing notepads. These include your
paper type, size, adhesive, as well as the color of your custom
notepads. Not only will you be able to control your design and
appearance of your collateral; you’ll also be able to work very much
within your marketing budget.
When printing your collaterals be sure to be hands on in every step of
your printing process. It will assure you that you have control of what
the outcome would be for your print notepads, as well as give you the
assurance that you’re paying for what you’ve decided and not with what
your printing provider has decided for you.
So here are the basic elements you need to be aware of when you print notepads:
The Paper Type –
The type of paper stock you use will greatly affect the outcome you
have for your pad printing. Your paper type can range from the regular
ones to glossy high quality paper to recycled paper stock. Some stocks
would have glossy fronts with regular paper at the back; still some
would have a glossy finish on both front and back side. Your print
provider can help you choose what type of paper can have the most
impact to your target audience. You can either choose from their ready
list of paper stock in their shop; or you can always bring a sample of
your own kind of paper for your provider to look for it. Just remember
to choose your paper yourself. Don’t get enticed to use glossy finish
when you don’t even have a need for it.
The Paper Size –
Your size for your notepads can be anywhere from half the size of that
of the regular letter paper, or you can decide to what size you need to
have for your custom notepads for better impact. Determining the size
of your pad clearly depends on your purpose. Decide on the size that
will fit your marketing needs and your budget.
The Paper Adhesive –
Of course, you need the adhesive to put all your pages together. You
can either decide to have your pages glued together by some kind of
adhesive on top so your recipients can easily tear away your pad. Or
you can also do it post-it style for your target clients to easily
stick their notes where they can see them quickly.
The Paper Color –
Finally, you need to decide on the color of your paper. Usually,
marketers and business owners go for the regular white pad with color
logo and design in their notepads. But you can also have colored paper
for you to stand out. Just be sure to use a light shade of your color
so you don’t take out your notepad’s function, which is for your target
clients to have something to write on.
